Leland Brilliantone Guitar by Larson Brothers
ca. 1936 or so?
Big 16 3/8 inch lower bout
25 inch scale length
Body thickness (depth) is ..... 1 7/8 " !
Book Matched Brazilian Rosewood back.
Big mellow sound and plays nice
The label is mostly destroyed but a companion Leland Brilliantone mandolin is pictured whose label is in perfect shape and shows what the guitar label would be like if it was still intact.
In fact the whole mandolin is in beautiful shape.
Note the interesting heel construction.
