TG - 00031 1937 National
Triolian Tenor Guitar VG A later example of the
classic metal bodied little blaster. This one with
the faux wood grain finish on the top, sides and back.
No major dents or cracks but plenty of play wear as you can
see in the pictures. Good setup with great
tone and volume and easy playing. Original tuning pegs and period 'modern' peghead design. Original
chipboard case has about had it.
Price: $1450.00
TG - 00048 1928 ca. Vega
Flat Top Tenor Guitar VG++ Great sounding and
playing guitar that sounds like an X-braced but is ladder braced with a
12 3/4" lower bout. Crack free spruce top and mahogany back and sides. One cleated
small crack near the side in the back and a couple of repaired
hairlines in the bass side. All solid and hard to notice. A small area
on the side
has a little discoloration in the finish. This is really a
sweetheart of a guitar with its engraved Vega star inlaid in the headstock and "Planet"
geared tuning pegs.
No case.
Price: $1595.00
TG - 00013 1928 National
Style 2 Tri Cone Tenor Guitar VG++ These old Tri Cones
have a fantastic sound and are quite rare. The fancy engraved Style 2 is rarer
yet. Beautifully engraved roses adorn the
top and the back and even the sides
of the body. The comfortable
neck is Phillipine Mahogany. Pearl dots are inlaid into the ebony fingerboard.
Original Grover tuning
pegs. Plain ebony
headstock once had a National decal no doubt. Neck has been reset and a
new replica saddle installed. No case.
Price: $3750.00
